Community at The Vine

Please contact the church office to enquire about joining any of our community groups

Kids

Our kids’ church programme runs during the Victorian school term at both campuses.
We cater for children from kindergarten age to grade 6, with the kids joining the service initially for worship and going off to kids’ church after the announcements. Activity packs are available when kids’ church isn’t on.

All volunteers at TVBC have undergone Child Safe training.

Youth

High schoolers – come and join The Vine Youth on Friday evenings between 6:30 and 8:45 pm at our Eltham campus! This is a relaxed, safe environment where you can get to know other kids and ask questions about life and faith without judgement.

We get together during the school term for games, Bible study, prayer, worship nights, excursions and more. We also have a youth camp that is heaps of fun.

Our leaders have undergone Child Safe training and have hearts for connecting with youth. We also have joint activities with local churches in our region across the year.

We would love to see you at The Vine Youth!

Young Adults

Whether you’ve just finished high school, are in the middle of uni/TAFE studies, or have already begun working life, we'd love to see you at one of our young adult (roughly 18-35 yos) life groups. We have a range of welcoming YA life groups meeting regularly across both campuses. We also have opportunities across the year to connect with the wider YA community, so get in touch to hear about our special events like beach days or dinners!

Life Groups

Life groups are a key aspect of our church community. They meet regularly in one another's homes to do life together as they live and grow as disciples of Jesus. We believe that this is the easiest way to be nurtured and to contribute to church life, so contact us to join a life group today.

Playgroup

Playgroup runs on Monday and Friday mornings between 9:30-11 am at our Eltham campus, with playtime in our back room with lots of toys and fun craft activities. It is open to children aged from babies to preschoolers (subject to availability), and provides parents and carers an opportunity to connect with other families in the community.

All volunteers at TVBC have undergone Child Safe training.

Women's

We want to encourage and support the women at The Vine as together we seek to live in a way that is increasingly formational, relational and missional: being formed through opportunities to experience and share the love of Jesus, cultivating deepening relationships across the community, and giving attention to all areas of life where the love of Jesus might be shown – both within and outside the church community.

Our once-a-term events have included dessert nights, mission afternoons and movie nights. Another highlight is the Women’s Retreat, a weekend away to spend more time with God and each other.

Men's

Our Men’s Ministry gives opportunities for men of all ages to make connections with each other through once-a-term events such as golf afternoons, walks, Meat Ups, bonfires and more.

We also run Man Camp, which has been a great way to get to know the other guys at The Vine in a deeper way.
